Terms and Conditions for the Duo Plush Drop (the “Promotion”)

By entering the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (these “Terms and Conditions”). Promotional materials relating to the Promotion, including all information on how to enter the Promotion, also form part of these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict between any terms referred to in such promotion materials and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions take precedence.

1. The promoter of this Promotion is TB Australia Company Pty Ltd (ABN 20 667 713 242) whose address is at 20 Rodborough Road, Frenchs Forest, Sydney NSW 2086, Australia (“Taco Bell”).
2. Participants must be at least 18 years old and legally resident within Australia. Employees, contractors and agents of Taco Bell and Duolingo, or any of their respective subsidiary or affiliated companies and associated agencies, and their immediate family members and members of their households, and anyone otherwise connected with the operation or fulfilment of the Promotion, are not eligible to take part. Taco Bell reserves the right to require participants to prove that they are eligible.
3. The Promotion starts at 10am AEST on Tuesday 6 October 2026 (“Opening Date”) and all entries must be received by 11.59pm AEST on the closing date of Tuesday 14 October 2026 (“Closing Date”).
4. The Promotion will be administered on Taco Bell’s Instagram page @tacobellaus (https://www.instagram.com/tacobellaus/).
5. Entry to the Promotion is free. No purchase is necessary to enter the Promotion. 
6. To enter the Promotion, Participants must:
   1. follow @tacobellaus on Instagram; 
   1. like the Duo Plush Drop giveaway post; 
   1. comment on the Duo Plush Drop giveaway post; and 
   1. tag a friend in their comment. 
7. Each participant may submit only one (1) entry. Entries submitted by any means other than as prescribed in paragraph 6 above, or that exceed the entry limit in this paragraph 7, will not be accepted.
8. The Prizes to be won are 50 (fifty) Duolingo x Taco Bell plush toys (each a “Prize”). Participants may only win one Prize per person.
9. The approximate retail value of each Prize is $30.02. By participating in the Promotion, participants agree that the Prize is awarded on an “as is” basis, and that neither Taco Bell nor any of its subsidiary or affiliated companies make any representations or warranties of any nature with respect to the Prizes. There is no cash or other alternative to the Prizes in whole or in part and the Prize is non-exchangeable and non-transferable.
10. The 50 (fifty) winners of a Prize will be selected at random on Wednesday 14^th October 2026  from all complete, eligible, properly submitted entries received before the end of the Closing Date, using a computer-generated process that produces verifiably random results.
11. The winners will be notified within on Wednesday, 14^th October 2026 via direct message from the @tacobellaus Instagram account.
12. The winners may be required to submit valid identification before receiving their Prize. If a winner is found to be ineligible, Taco Bell reserves the right to award their Prize to another participant and to require the return of any Prize already awarded.
13. Winners must respond within 14 days of notification by providing their full name and Australian postal address by direct message to the @tacobellaus Instagram account. If a winner fails, refuses or is unable to provide their full name and/or a valid Australian postal address for receipt of their Prize within 14 days of the notification under paragraph 11, Taco Bell reserves the right to conduct a further random draw to award that Prize to another participant.
14. The Prize will be sent to the winners by post, at no cost to the winners, to the Australian postal address notified by the winners. Winners are responsible for paying any costs and expenses that are not covered under these Terms and Conditions.
15. In the event that, for reasons beyond Taco Bell’s reasonable control and not related to a winner, Taco Bell is unable to award the Prizes as described in these Terms and Conditions, Taco Bell reserves the right to award a Prize of a similar nature and an equivalent value, or at its sole discretion, the cash value of the Prize. In the event of a printing or other error resulting in there being more winners than there are Prizes for the Promotion, Taco Bell reserves the right at any time to allocate the available Prizes through a further draw or to divide the Prizes concerned or the value of the Prize concerned between the winners of the Promotion.
16. The provision of the Prize does not imply endorsement by Taco Bell of Duolingo or any other third parties concerned in any way with the Promotion.
17. Taco Bell will publish or make available information confirming that a valid award for the Promotion took place. Where a winner resides in the Northern Territory and the value of the Prize is AUD 1,000 or more, Taco Bell will publish the winner’s first initial and surname within 14 days of the draw date, in accordance with Northern Territory requirements. In all other cases, Taco Bell may publish a winner’s first name and state of residence on its Instagram page and website for the sole purpose of confirming the valid award of the Prize. Winners will be given the opportunity to object to such publication at the time they are notified under paragraph 11. If a winner objects, Taco Bell will not publish their personal details but will still confirm that a valid award took place. 
18. Although the Promotion may be featured on or administered via Instagram, the Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram and participants agree that Instagram is not liable to them in any way in connection with this Promotion. Participants are providing information to Taco Bell and not to Instagram. The information participants provide will only be used for the purposes referred to in paragraph 19 below. By entering the Promotion, participants will also be deemed to be bound by and have accepted the Instagram Terms of Use, Instagram’s Privacy Policy and Instagram API Terms, and Taco Bell reserves the right to disqualify any entries that have failed to abide by and/or are in breach of such policies and terms.
19. During the course of the Promotion, Taco Bell will collect and process participants’ personal information (such as names and addresses, and in the case of winners, postal addresses). This personal information will be shared with and used by Taco Bell only insofar as is necessary to conduct the Promotion and for the Prizes to be delivered to the winners. 
20. Taco Bell may also use participants’ personal information to send newsletters or other promotional or marketing communications where the participant has separately opted to receive such communications, unless or until participants opt out of receiving these communications, which participants can do at any time. 21. Taco Bell reserves the right to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the Promotion in whole or in part, at its sole discretion, if it believes the Promotion is not capable of being conducted as specified within these Terms and Conditions or in the event of a virus, a computer bug or unauthorised human intervention or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of Taco Bell that could corrupt or affect the administration, security, impartiality or normal course of the Promotion. Neither Taco Bell nor any of its subsidiary or affiliated companies are responsible for any condition, circumstance, loss, failure or delay caused by events beyond its or their control such as (but not limited to) the acts or defaults of any supplier selected by Taco Bell to provide the Prize or otherwise that may cause the Promotion to be disrupted or corrupted, or that may lead to loss or damage of the Prizes in transit to the winners.
22. Taco Bell will not be responsible for any damage, loss or injury resulting from participants’ entry into the Promotion or their acceptance and/or use of the Prizes, except to the extent caused by Taco Bell’s own negligence. Taco Bell is also not responsible for technical, hardware or software failures, lost, faulty or unavailable network connections or difficulties of any kind that may limit or prohibit a participant’s ability to participate in the Promotion. Taco Bell will not be responsible for any lost, incomplete, illegible or otherwise unreadable entries.
23. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits Taco Bell’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for any other matter where liability may not as a matter of law be limited (including any applicable minimum requirements or guarantees provided under the Australian Consumer Law).
24. Use of script, macro or any automated system to enter the Promotion is prohibited and entries made (or which appear to have been made) using any such system may be treated as void. Any illegible, incomplete or fraudulent entries will be rejected. Taco Bell reserves the right to remove, hide or disqualify any entry or comment that contains offensive, obscene, defamatory, discriminatory, hateful or otherwise inappropriate content, as determined by Taco Bell in its sole discretion. 
25. Any participant who enters or attempts to enter the Promotion in a manner which, in Taco Bell’s reasonable determination, is contrary to these Terms and Conditions or by its nature is unjust to other entrants (including without limitation tampering with the operation of the Promotion, cheating, hacking, deception or any other unfair playing practices such as intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or Taco Bell and/or any of its agents or representatives) may be rejected from the Promotion at Taco Bell’s sole discretion. Furthermore, where such actions have significantly impaired the Promotion, Taco Bell may, at its sole discretion, add further stages to the Promotion as it deems reasonably necessary in order to resolve any problems arising as a result of such actions.
26. All of Taco Bell’s decisions in relation to the Promotion are final. Taco Bell will not enter into any correspondence with participants in relation to the outcome of the Promotion.
27. Any complaints or queries relating to the use of the Prizes should be directed to holly.jensen@yum.com.
28. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State or Territory of Australia in which the applicable participant resides (“Jurisdiction”), provided that if there is any confusion or disagreement as to what Jurisdiction applies, the Jurisdiction will be the State of New South Wales. The courts of the Jurisdiction shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear any dispute or claim arising in association with the Promotion or these Terms and Conditions.

This Promotion is open to customers of Taco Bell stores in Australia. This Promotion is valid from 12:00 AEST on 12 January 2026 until 11.59 AEST on 8 March 2026, subject to availability. The Promotion applies to the purchase of a Chipotle Melt Burrito Meal, which includes a Chipotle Chicken Burrito, Crunchy Taco, Regular Chips & Regular Drink, in stores and eligible customers will then receive the Promotion for $8.95. For any such eligible purchase, customer must purchase the Chipotle Chicken Burrito Meal in stores. By redeeming the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (these “Terms and Conditions“). Promotional materials relating to the Promotion, including all information on how to redeem the Promotion, also form part of these Terms and Conditions. 4. To take advantage of the Promotion, participants must purchase the Chipotle Chicken Burrito Meal (includes a Chipotle Chicken Burrito, Crunchy Taco, Regular Chips & Regular Drink) in stores and they will receive this combo for $8.95. The Promotion is not available on delivery orders. 
5. The Promotion is as stated and is non-exchangeable and non-transferable. The Promotion may not be used with other discount coupons, promotions or special offers and there is no cash or other alternative offers to the Promotion in whole or in part.
6. The Promotion cannot be used against any product purchased prior to the commencement date of the Promotion and will be deemed fully redeemed once a qualifying purchase has been made. 
7. Taco Bell reserves the right to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the Promotion in whole or in part, at its sole discretion, if it believes the Promotion is not capable of being conducted as specified within these Terms and Conditions or in the event of a virus, a computer bug or unauthorised human intervention or any other cause that is beyond the reasonable control of Taco Bell that could corrupt or affect the administration, security, or normal course of the Promotion. Neither Taco Bell nor any of its subsidiary or affiliated companies are responsible for any condition, circumstances, losses, failures or delays caused by events beyond its or their control that may cause the Promotion to be disrupted or corrupted.

Any participant who redeems or attempts to redeem the Promotion in a manner, which in Taco Bell’s reasonable determination is contrary to these Terms and Conditions or by its nature is unjust to other participants (including without limitation tampering with the operation of the Promotion) may not be permitted to redeem the Promotion at Taco Bell’s sole discretion. Furthermore, where such actions have significantly impaired the Promotion, Taco Bell may, at its sole discretion, add further stages to the Promotion as it deems reasonably necessary in order to resolve any problems arising as a result of such actions.

Free Taco Supreme:

Free Taco Supreme offer includes one (1) hard or soft taco supreme beef, bean or chicken item only. Must present social media post or voucher to redeem offer. Costs apply to any modifications. Limit of one (1) free Taco Supreme per taco bell lover during the promotional period. Offer cannot be swapped for another menu item. Not to be used in conjunction with any other offer. Only available for Dine In and Takeaway.

Tell The Bell Free Crunchy Taco:

Customers are entitled to 1x free Crunchy Taco only to the value of $2.50 on their next visit in-store. Tell The Bell Survey must be completed within 3-days of the original purchase to be valid for redemption. To redeem voucher, print/write down the redemption code on the original Taco Bell receipt and show to staff at the Taco Bell restaurant you made the original purchase. Redemption code must be presented and claimed in-store within 14 days of receipt. Voucher not redeemable for cash, or able to be swapped for another menu item. Max 1x voucher use per transaction, minimum spends don’t apply. Not valid with any other offer.
